Product details & history

This 2-man set includes the Squad's radio man carrying the 'SCR-538' backpack radio with a telephone handset.
Because of the extra weight of the radio and its batteries most radio operators carried the lighter M1 Carbine as a personal weapon.
Most 'Squad Leaders' were corporals however some sergeants would also take up this role.
Chances are, our Squad Leader is a 'Sergeant' as he's carrying the Thompson submachine gun which was a rare weapon for junior NCOs to carry.

Materials & Construction

Hand-painted mixed-media collectible. Figures are primarily cast metal, while vehicles, scenic pieces, and accessories may combine polystone, resin, metal, and plastic components. The exact material mix varies by model.

Collector Care

Display indoors away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, and moisture. Handle the piece by its base—not by weapons or small accessories—and remove dust gently with a soft, dry brush. Do not use water or household cleaners.

Scale & Dimensions

Designed to complement King & Country's approximately 1:30 scale range. Figure height, vehicle footprint, and accessory dimensions vary by set; check the product description for model-specific details.
